Mortimer Literary's Mentorship Award

The 2009 Mentorship winner is Steve Sherman - Adventures of Morgan Lefay.

What is the Mentorship Award? I designed the program to take a newbie writer, and in one year, mentor them to publication through extensive editing and advice.. My goal is to represent this writer and sell their manuscript. Writer and Agent work under the safety of a Letter of Intent.

We’ll post the rules for next year’s program in September 2009.

Mortimer Literary’s 2008 Writer of the Year is: Robin Miller w/a Robin Caroll

Mortimer Literary recognizes achievement. Each year I’ll name one of my clients as our “Writer of the Year.”

The writer doesn't haveta be published to win. I look for more than distinction in writing, but distinction in the writer. The winner receives a plaque in commemoration of their excellence in writing, attitude, fortitude, and/or service to other writers.

Starting with the 2008 winner, Mortimer Literary will add a $100.00 prize in addition to the plaque.
